I am so glad I brought this suitcase on my trip to France, especially during my stay at Château de Mello. On a cozy rainy day, it proved to be the perfect travel companion. The hard shell kept all my belongings protected and dry while I explored the beautiful surroundings. It was easy to maneuver and Imanaged to handle every part of the journey with ease. I loved having the peace of mind that my items were safe from the weather and the bumps of travel.
The 28 inch luggage I ordered was awesome and light weight althought it arrived a bit late for the travel I was to suppose to carry it with but it was worth the wait. I wouldn't be having any second thought of buying another one in the future.

Ordered the bag as i was looking for a steel bag but most where over my budget.
I recently received the Riigid trunk luggage, and overall, my first impression is positive. The build quality looks sturdy and durable, and the trunk-style design is both impressive and practical for organizing items compared to standard luggage. One notable difference: the actual weight is around 5.4 kg, not 7.8 kg as advertised. This is actually better for the user since it’s lighter and easier to manage, especially for air travel. However, there are a few areas where the company needs improvement. The luggage only came with a plastic cover, whereas a proper protective luggage cover would have been much more appropriate for a product in this category. Additionally, the promised gift bag was missing from my order, which is disappointing and should be addressed. Overall, I’m satisfied with the luggage itself in terms of quality and design, but the inaccuracies in product details and missing inclusions affect the overall experience. Verdict: ✔ Sturdy and premium build ✔ Practical trunk design ✔ Lighter than advertised (good) ✖ Plastic cover instead of proper luggage cover ✖ Missing promised gift bag ✖ Inaccurate product information - the weight of trunk luggage is lighter than the information provided which is good.🤣🤣

I have emailed you regarding the significant damage to my suitcase after its very first trip, and I’m extremely disappointed that you are failing to take any responsibility. This is not normal cosmetic wear and tear — there is a major dent in the corner directly affecting the latch mechanism, and I can now no longer properly latch or secure the suitcase, making it unusable for another trip. For a suitcase marketed on its durability and backed by your warranty, I really do not find this response acceptable.
Left side Lock is too tight and takes too much pressure to open. Didn’t expect this quality miss on a RIIGID briefcase
The material is very soft . I just travel with cases for onetime and it’s damaged ! How come ? It’s very fragile and I keep them with extra layer
The most luxurious luggage worth buying
Everything was absolutely fantastic... Until the bed on Emirates first extended and crushed the metal case :( Dark, couldn't see or feel (powerful seat motors!). Can't blame Emirates as the bag is bigger than their permissible dimensions - probably for this reason. Will try and hammer it back into shape but won't be the same. Lock doesn't seem to be damaged luckily.

Not 1, not 2 but 3 different luggages I purchased from Rigiid. I’m very happy with these luggages overall. Initially I purchased the trunk and before my travel I decided to add the 20” carry on and after the first trip I purchased the 28” check in, all in black. The quality looks good, and after my first trip they have performed well so far. There are only some minor scratches, but that is normal given how they have been used. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the communication with the supplier was not very clear. The first two items were delivered after many from the original scheduled timeframe, while the third item arrived within the promised timeframe, which was 3 days. Overall, I’m very positive about the product and would still recommend it based

I love the aluminum portion of this luggage. Unfortunately, the handles are made of silver-painted black plastic. This would be less of an issue if they were not the most proud elements on the top and side of the case. The result is that, after the maiden voyage, black plastic is showing through everywhere the handles received wear. This immediately cheapens the look. Part of the charm of aluminum is the inevitable wear and patina. This doesn’t really work if the first evidence is black exposed plastic right where you reach for the case. The gray through-color plastic would be preferable even than the faux aluminum thinly coated on the handle. Too bad, otherwise it’s pretty nice to walk through an airport with.
We love them. Very light. Very clean design. The trunk is a little bit smaller than expected, but will do the job!

Initially just wanted the black one but got sucked in to wanting the silver because of how chic and classic it looked. Turned out I love the black one even more and want to get a whole set. So happy to have gotten an all aluminum truck. Only sad that the airline completely destroyed the plastic covering :(
Fantastic suitcases for which I highly recommend to everyone/anyone needing durable, sturdy, strong, resistant, stylish and solid suitcases. As you can see from the pictures, YES, all and every suitcase will be handled rough by all airlines. Clearly, they sustained the rough handling and banging. Nevertheless, that will happen to any suitcase. I would certainly buy them again. Thank you RIIGID.

I love the luggage. My only thing is that is heavy. It’s 17 pounds for the trunk and I’m traveling through Vietnam.
1st trip 4 flights 9,000 miles. Tuscan cobblestones. Some nominal marks to prove I used it. The matte green is quietly beautiful. Rivits make it even more attractive (than a Rimowa). Jude, get some green trunks into the supply chain please! :)

Have already 5 star reviewed the cases after receiving them and doing the outward part of our holiday. Having returned, suitcases were easy to move around and although no longer sparklingly new looking thanks to four airports’ baggage handling they survived super well. We really like them.
I ordered the 28 inch check in bag in racing green during there summer35 sale. There was some confusion about when it would arrive. They notified me that it had been shipped the day after I ordered it on Sept. 17, but it hadn’t arrived after 5 days. Riidgid was good about replying and explaining. It arrived when they said it would. Packaged well with no obvious damage to the box. The suitcase showed no damage and it should serve me well. The free gift bag was a no show and I will contact Riidgid to see if they will make it right. I will update my review after the suitcase gets a workout.

Having seen this style of case on my travels for many years, I have been hankering for one but the pricing (for a suitcase of all things) was far too much for something that baggage handlers would treat with no more respect than the other cases they throw around at their leisure and that's even if I won the lottery and money/value went out of the window. So I looked eleswhere and took my time and am glad I did and found Riigid. I ordered a 28" check-in case in silver at 11am on a Monday. It was delivered at 11am two days later - simply wow! So tick in the box there. Well packaged and it came with a leather luggage lable (classy) and a protective removeable cover. Impressed and another tick. It looks just like the eye wateringly expensive version and to be honest, apart from different handles and not having a trophy name lable, it is hard to tell the difference. Tick. First trip (and I was waiting for this before any review) was London to Dominican Republic for 2 weeks. Everything I needed was packed and I am sure with some room to spare. All held down securely in place by the straps and panels. Nothing was damaged or squashed as it all stayed in place on both outward and return journeys. The glide of the spinner wheels is impressive as the case was able to be moved around with what seemed to be the lightest of touches and there was no noise or sqeeky wheel syndrome. Tick. As expected, the baggage handlers had a good go at trying to damage the case but all it was left with was a couple of black scuff marks and one corner showed wear and tear but it held and looks solid. Tick. Overall, I can't believe I am excited to own a suitcase such as this but this one advertised expectations and delivered 100%. I certainly no longer hanker for the German equivalent at 5 times the price. Tick!
